I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in April 2020. Immediately, I had a left breast mastectomy with over a dozen lymph nodes removed (Modified radical mastectomy) along with chemotherapy. My battle with cancer and recovery was a brutal, drawn out and life altering journey. Post surgery, for two years, I was prescribed Tamoxifen; the side effects were devastating. At one point, I could barely walk 10 yards without feeling dizzy, exhausted and completely spent. In 2023, my doctors detected abnormal cell growth in both my lungs. I was shaken to my core; I had a young daughter and three other children to be a mother for. I had to live!

 

I recall the day, a heaven-sent family friend, O'Neil Foster, suggested that I, “drink soursop tea leaves every morning on an empty stomach.” I started immediately! He added, “give the body the environment it needs to cure itself and it will.”
